[Sara] is always well organized and the staff feel she keeps their interest and gets her subject over well. Our training courses are designed principally for care home and residential nursing home staff. You can view our full training courses list now or find out more about our two flagship training course packages designed to enable trainees to work in the care sector. These are known as:
Mandatory Units Training
As the name suggests, it is mandatory (a legal requirement) for anyone employed as a carer to have attended an accredited course such as ours, which contains six modules. The content is technical and practical.
Induction to Skills for Care Training
The content of this course package, also containing six modules, is more theoretical and sets out the background to the work of caring as the role of carer. As with Mandatory Units Training it is mandatory for anyone who works as a carer to complete this course. Our clients value it highly as a complement to their own processes for inducting new staff as carers.
Given that staff turnover can be up to 62%, we offer a choice of contracts that allows clients to limit the cost of providing their staff with this essential training whilst being confident of their cost commitment. Contracts are available for training to be delivered either at the client's venue or at our dedicated training facilities in Derby.
All contracts include the following additional services:
- Quantum's Training Pack.
- A regular training matrix showing which staff have completed which modules.
- Certificates.
