We are pleased to announce that Quantum Group have been recognised by Leicestershire Connexions in our work with 14 - 19 Year Olds.  They have granted our course a very prestigous "Q Mark" award.  We are an approved 14 - 19 Quality Prefered Centre to a silver standard.

Part of our startegy at Quantum is to help younger people start a career in the care industry, in order to address the problems of youth unemployment and care staff shortages. We are delivering this through our programmes such as 'Apprenticeships' and 'Training Courses for Employment'. We were therefore very pleased to be able to support the Backing Young Britain campaign, which aims to raise awareness amongst employers of the potential benefits of taking a longer term view and employing a younger person to train with them on-the-job (click here to see an acknowledgement of our support). An understanding of how the skin functions and how to care for and maintain it is vital for all carers. We will be running our innovativeTissue Viability Course at our Derby Training Centre on Tuesday 15 June 2010. The course, lasting one full day, is available at a 10% 'Early Bird' discount for bookings made by the 1st June, on the standard cost of £75 per person.
