Mandatory Units Training
The Mandatory Units Training Package consists of six individual courses and completing all of them is mandatory for anyone working as a carer in the United Kingdom. We offer each course individually or as a package to help clients' keep costs down. The six modules, each lasting between half and a full day, are:
- Moving and Handling
- Health and Safety
- Food Hygiene Awareness
- First Aid and CPR
- Infection Control
- Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults ('SOVA')
The package of courses can be delivered either at our dedicated training facilities in Derby or at the client's venue. We also offer three contracts with different numbers of visits per year for training delivered at the client's venue. For training delivered at our premises the number of delegates over the contract period is capped at 50 and threshold supplementary charges apply for additional delegates.
