Getting to Quantum Group by foot From Derby Rail Station
Derby Rail Station can be found on a map here.
Leaving the main station entrance, cross the road at the pedestrian junction and follow the road almost opposite, Midland Place, which leads into a residential area. Fifty metres further veer left and then follow the path and cycle track over the road and then past some parking areas, towards the Westgate (Shopping) Centre. It is quickest to go through the shopping centre, if it's open: down the ramp then through, up the escalator then follow the route straight on to exit the Centre on London Road. Turn right and walk towards the city centre, down the pedestrianised street. At the intersection with Albert Street/Victoria Street (with Tescos on your right) walk left up Victoria Street, then bear left up Wardwick with Derby Museum and Library on your right. After the next junction and just into Friar Gate we are just on the left, between Friargate Antiques Company and Café Loco.
This is a 15-20 minute walk.
Alternatively take bus (‘Unibus') service number 6 from the station, leaving every 10 minutes during the day, asking the driver to let you off by the City Library, then follow the directions given above.
Alternatively, but much more expensively, taxi's are usually ranked outside the train station.
