This one-day course makes particular use of exercises and group discussions to translate the course content to the work context of the delegates. | ||
| Learning Outcomes: | Following this course participants will: have strong understanding of discrimination, gender, religion, prejudice; be able to articulate the importance of respecting principles of equality and diversity; have formulated ideas about how to improve these aspects of their work environment and advise colleagues on such issues. The course also introduces a model for understanding care in transcultural contexts and discusses the significance of an ageing population. | ||
