"I would recommend Roy and Quantum Group to anyone seriously looking to raise standards in their care home, and would add that the experience, knowledge and support they bring will make the whole process run smoothly with the improvements to the business evident for all to see."
Kevin Dewhurst, Owner, Whitebriars (Residential Care Home), Bexhill-on-Sea
"Quantum have sent knowledgeable reliable trainers who provide first class training. The result of our association with this excellent company is that staff have become knowledgeable, effective and keen to attend training as the delivery is comprehensive, using formats suitable for each individual learner’s requirements and ability. Quantum also offer ‘working examples’ of training outcomes which indicate the practical application rather than training remaining an academic exercise quickly forgotten."
Robina Clarke, Owner and Manager, Claxton House, Norwich
"We have worked with Quantum Group since 2008 and we have always found Angela to be very helpful in arranging appointments with our staff around their work commitments. Angie is very approachable and all our staff have said how at ease she makes them feel when sitting any Skills for Life papers. We find that Angela is very approachable and always keeps her appointments."
Maria Gatt, Cleethorpes Care and Nursing Ltd, Grimsby
"...we find the training being given on mandatory subjects (M&H, H&S, Food Hygiene, etc) is effective in that the theory is covered in a readily absorbed format, and practical, giving staff opportunity to actually do the procedures being trained. This makes it easy to carry over into the workplace and improve the quality of care we are offering in our homes, especially by new carers who have had little or no training before."
Lesley Sturgess, Manager, Sherwood/Forest View Nursing Home
"Your Health Group have utilised Quantum Training Services over a two year period. This has been either at their Derby premises or at our residential homes based in Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire. The Mandatory and Induction Training Programmes, also NVQ’s have been delivered in a professional manner and received much praise from the care assistants/domiciliary carers who attended."
Hannah Perry, Manager, ENA Carecall Ltd
After a number of very successful meetings…the Trust made a business case to employ Quantum as our training provider for both Mandatory and Non-Mandatory Training...The feedback I received was that Gill made the training very structured, informative and good fun. I feel good fun is great to hear as time out for training is precious care time but we wish to encourage our staff to be up to speed at all times with their mandatory and non-mandatory training and to enjoy it is definitely a bonus. Gill is very approachable and always has a smiley face to greet you.
Moira Beswick, Head of Resource and Quality, The Rossendale Trust
"I have found Clare [Lawrence] to be very supportive, and more than willing to explain any areas that I have not been sure of. Clare has been very helpful in offering guidance, and suggesting websites on the Internet that are useful for sourcing information and supporting theories. She is easily contactable either via mobile or email if I need any support in between our meetings...I enjoy having Clare as my assessor as she is pleasant and approachable. I find her more than willing to offer all support and guidance that is needed. She is very organised, and always has my work to hand, and knows where I am in my progress, so I do not have to fill her in every time we meet, which is good for me as she gives me confidence and I feel that she takes notice of who I am and my needs as a learner."
Karen Hicks, Branch Trainer and Asssessor, Prestige Nursing Ltd
"Clare Lawrence is presently visiting Lilybank as she is the assessor for candidates doing their NVQ levels 2 3 and 4. Clare is very supportive to us all, she visits approximately every month and is always polite and cheerful. Clare offers the candidates good guidance and advice. If staff are having difficulty with any work which has been set out for them Clare is easily contactable either by phone or email. Clare will always arrange times and dates which suit herself and the candidates. When Clare does observations she is polite to service users and maintains their privacy. I feel Clare is very approachable and does a fantastic job to support such a wide range of people."
Julie Allen, Team Leader, Lilybank, Progressive Care
"I find Jane Aked very informative and knowledgeable. Jane explains complicated issues in a way that we can understand and then are able to practice this in a our work and also in the care home setting that we are in. Jane gives us confidence to complete the work set out in our NVQ. We find Jane very approachable and her people skills are excellent."
Jayne Cotterill, Acting Manager, Quality Care (EM) Ltd, Nottingham
"The delivery of the [Infection Control] course was carried out in a very professional manner and the content was specific to the needs of our staff and very appropriate...the staff enjoyed the sessions immensely. One comment was that it was one of the better training courses for interest and enjoyment. It applied the theory to the practice which is what staff can relate to. It was a credit to your company."
Lesley Hughes, Home Manager, Church Terrace
"Jill makes all of her training sessions an enjoyable experience...she is organized, efficient and methodical and displays a professional manner at all times. She is able top adapt her training technique to the level of understanding that each different participant may require. Jill is able to combine the knowledge of more experienced learners together with the training programme to give the inexperienced participant a broader range iof understanding to the session. She is able to put the audience at ease, breaking down any barriers that new or more experienced employees to the care sector are able to ask questions on the topic without them feeling embarrassed."
Jo Butler, Director, Qulity Home Care UK Ltd, Derby
"Quantum have been supporting the Management of our care home by carrying out Regulation 26 visits monthly which has helped us to improve standards within the care home for our residents living here."
Adam James, Care Home Manager, Burlington Care Home, Northampton
"I attended both the Health and Safety and Infection Control Awareness course today with Jo [Whitworth] – it was very informative and was thoroughly enjoyed by all. The fact that it was informal made both the carers and I “take in” the information and Jo certainly knew her subjects."
Knappe Cross Nursing Home, Exmouth
"Overall the sessions were very good. The staff remarked how enjoyable the sessions were, Jo was also very sensitive to the needs of one staff member with reading difficulties who had been too embarrassed to attend the training session previously."
Margaret Mantle, Home Manager, Culm Valley Care Centre, Cullompton, Devon
"Sara is the tutor allocated to our home for all areas of our statutory training and any other agreed by our company, Halcyon Care. [Sara] is always early and has set up everything she needs for the training session, before the staff arrive. [Sara] has shown she has a good knowledge of every subject she covers and encourages those attending to ask questions and/or give their experiences. She acts professionally at all times and does not mind if something has to be explained in a different way for our staff to understand the point being made...Her experience of working with the elderly in the past helps her relate to our situation of working in a care home that caters for diverse situations/illness/capabilities etc of residents."
Mrs R Larsen, Manager, Nightingale House, Bucknall, Lincs
"[Sara] is always well organized and the staff feel she keeps their interest and gets her subject over well. She keeps well to the times and her handouts and visuals are informative and well presented. She is always well prepared and set up ahead of time. She is considerate of the home environment and works well in the area given. It is only a small home and the residents living area is ‘invaded’ as it were during training sessions. She takes that in to account and fits in well during the time she is in the home."
Jo Dickinson, Home Manager, Noss Mayo Care Home, Skegness
"Angela [Breheney] has developed an excellent working relationship with all the staff at The Laurels, - her students are very happy with her methods of training and find her extremely approachable and helpful with all matters. Angela never fails to keep her appointments even recently during our snow she still arrived as promptly as ever; she approaches her role as an NVQ assessor with professionalism and carries out all supervision to ahigh standard. We at The Laurels are proud to boast of our high achievement of NVQs at all levels and this goes with thanks to Angela and her team at Quantum Training."
Wendy Perkins, Manager, The Laurels Residential Home, Cheddar, Somerset
"Cleethorpes Care and Nursing Ltd have worked with Quantum Training for the past two years and have always found them very helpful in working with our staff to get them through any training that has been undertaken. Karen [Bardoe] always keeps to her appointment and will go out of her way to work around our staff work commitments. Karen is very popular with the staff and will always assist if any member of our team is struggling in any way with training and she is always available to them on the phone which we find most helpful."
